Stay Focused On Pool Safety This Summer

If you are considering adding a pool addition to your property this year, then be a good neighbor and observe the Lake Havasu City Codes on Pool/Spa enclosures.

     Any pool or spa which is at least 18 inches in depth shall

1)  Be enclosed by at least a five (5) foot wall, fence, or wire fencing.

2)  Have no openings in the wall or fence through which a spherical object inches in diameter can pass.

3)  Gates will be self closing and self latching with the latch located at least 54 inches above the underlying surface.

4)  The wall or fence shall be at least twenty inches from the water's edge.
