Extensive Home Fire Clean Up by SERVPRO

The home shown here was a beautiful 4 bedroom home and the fire began in a teen's room in the late evening. By the time the parents were alerted, smoke and soot were heavy throughout the entire home.

Of course the Fire Department was the very first responder to the scene and they worked hard and fast to bring the family to safety and put the flames out. The next group called to this scene was SERVPRO of Lake Havasu City/Bullhead City/ Kingman. The teams worked quickly to strip down drywall, pull out carpets, remove all insulation, and tile. As our SERVPRO Demo Team worked daily to remove fire damage, the odor of a strong fire smell continued to linger.

As SERVPRO later accesses damages remaining, they do a Duct Cleaning with a Deodorization, before testing to see if the home will need all new Ducting.

Additionally, all Structure Framing then gets a special treatment called Encapsulation. 

Once all damage, odors, air quality, and homes healthy undamaged framing is encapsulated, the repairs to rebuild the families home begins.
